CdWO4 single crystal is a monoclinic crystal system with good comprehensive scintillation properties, and belongs to the wolverite type structure. Compared with other inorganic scintillation crystals, CdWO4 single crystal has higher luminous efficiency, shorter afterglow time, larger X-ray absorption coefficient, stronger resistance to radiation damage, higher material density and no hygroscopicity. CdWO4 crystal is the core component of nuclear instrument inspection, gamma camera, XCT tomography imager and other photoelectric inspection equipment. The wide application of CdWO4 crystal has greatly improved the working performance of medical XCT and the efficiency of safety equipment. Therefore, it has been widely used in nuclear medicine imaging, security inspection, industrial computer tomography (CT), high-energy physics and other technical fields, especially in the field of medical X-ray CT, container inspection systems have very important applications.
