Anti vibration anti shocking forged crystal NaI(Tl) scintillator crystal
Forged scintillator was made by selected single NaI(Tl) ingots, the NaI(Tl) atom will re-arrange during forging. As you know, the single NaI(Tl) scintillator was grown by Bridgman growth method, the performance of top, middle, bottom part is quite different. We usually use Middle parts ingot(Theoretically,the performace of which will be better than top and bottom part one) to forge the finished products for high temperature oil logging. Due to the Secondary extrusion deformation, the mechanical strength is much stronger, while because we selected the ingots for forged scintillator, so the uniformity is also much better. And as per our customer's testing data, the stability of high temperature is also better. Hence,the overall performance of forged crystal NaI(Tl) is much better than single crystal NaI(Tl).
